Stayed home today (even though it was completely clear skies, like I think I can see the heavens clear skies and reaped the rewards)....the following is a conversation between Zane and I.
Zane comes running down the stairs "mom do you know what I'm doing?"
Mom: "What?" (he's running running running aimlessly)
Zane: "I'm pretending the little people are in my butt." running - bounding off the side of the couch while saying "aaaahhh oh it's wiggling" bouncing off couch "whow its smooching"
Mom: "You're doing what?"
Zane: "Pretending the little people are in my butt."
Mom: "oh, huh that's interesting"

Not little people as in "little chocolatiers" or "little people big world" rather fisher price little people! Just as a disclaimer.

And yet another.
Zeb says "mom do you know what he is selling (pointing to an incoming strutting Zane with a handfull of stuffed friends)?"
Mom: "what?"
Zeb and Zane in unison: "GIRLS"

Worth every bite!!

Strawberry rhubarb pie crumble goodness and my darling Jamie just went to get some vanilla cream goodness to go with it and yes we wish you were all here to have a piece and yes a very long run is a must afterwards and yes even though it is 11pm I will have a very large piece to, as Zane would say "see what it is all about" I will let you all know if you will be seeing this at the next gathering. With a very large amount of sugar and butter I seriously do not think it could be bad even if it really was. Bon appetit!!

In an effort to escape the cries of pure torture when even thinking about a salon I did my first "haircut" and I am really not sure if you can call it a haircut but rather a shearing (which yes I have to admit I have had practice years ago thanks to 4-H and a sheep called Pubert). One can really not go too wrong when dialing in a guide comb and going to town. Sorry Zeb about the bangs you were my first and oops yes a little short they are...next time Zane can go first. To sweeten the whole deal because of the guinea pigs I just saved $40 bucks. Blattstein Barbershop now open for business. Please read disclaimer before sitting in the chair.

a trip to the krispy kreme. this should be outlawed. and yes i am hoping the little people's early lives will allow for their arteries to recover from the damage. ahhh goodness

zeb and zane especially zane are budding photographers and we are their guenie pigs. zane's specialty is stil life photography and he is getting good.
